At Platinum SCUBA, we aim to provide students and customers with access to quality rental equipment. We believe it is important to turn over our rental equipment on a regular basis, so that you can be assured that not only is your rental equipment well maintained, but it is also up to date. We also believe it is important in selecting rental equipment that suits and fits you in order to increase your comfort. Whether you are looking to rent equipment for your Open Water Diver Course, for a warm water trip, or wish to try out your options before you buy, we will strive to accommodate your needs.
Cylinder Rentals and Air Fills
Of course, as a Dive Centre, we also offer aluminum and steel cylinder rentals, as well as air fills. You can be assured that our air is tested four times a year to ensure our air quality is within applicable standards. If you have any inquiries about our air testing or compressor set up, we would be happy to discuss it with you.
If it is time to get your regulator bench-checked, your cylinders visually inspected, or any other equipment serviced or repaired, you have come to the right place. We have trained and certified technicians available in store or accessible to ensure your equipment is serviced according to manufacturer and safety standards.
Beyond simply learning to scuba dive, you expand your capabilities as a diver through continued education. PADI’s full range of diver courses introduces you to new underwater activities and can even help you make a career move to become a PADI Professional.
Scuba gear makes diving possible. The best place to learn about all the fun gadgets and new scuba equipment available to you is at your local PADI Dive Center or Resort.
PADI dive shops offer a variety of experiences from local dive tours to exotic dive travel. Diving is a social activity and, by affiliating with a PADI Dive Center or Resort, you can explore dive sites nearby or visit vacation destinations around the world with others who share your interests. Joining the PADI Diving Society® and logging in to ScubaEarth® also provides opportunities to interact with other divers.
A healthy underwater environment is essential to good diving and divers are great advocates for protecting our water resources. Throughout PADI courses, divers learn the importance of protecting fragile aquatic ecosystems and are encouraged to become involved in local and global conservation efforts. For more than two decades, PADI has partnered with Project AWARE® – a global nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting our ocean planet – one dive at a time.

Rachel is a lawyer that has fallen in love with diving. Methodical and analytical, her instructional approach is one that encourages the development of a "thinking diver" that can anticipate needs and react accordingly. She is also an instructor that hasn't forgotten what it is like to learn something new: "I think my biggest strength is my ability to empathize when things are a bit nerve racking or aren't going as easily as first anticipated." Rachel enjoys watching new divers grow as their anticipation is transformed to confidence and they truly start to enjoy themselves.
Platinum Scuba provided me with top of the line service. They not only met, but exceeded my expectations. The quality of the training I received was exemplary. Friendly, patient, accommodating, skilled and professional, the team at Platinum Scuba ensured my proficiency in all the skills I needed to be a knowledgeable and confident diver. The instructors were always calm and in control, making me feel secure and capable throughout the entire learning process.Their flexibility was a huge asset to me because they would set up dive times that accommodated my busy schedule. Corners were not cut, I greatly appreciate the high standards set and followed by these guys. If I wasn't able to nail a skill the first try, we'd be sure to practice until we were both satisfied that I could perform it well. They went above and beyond, because they really wanted to see me become not only an adept diver, but a responsible one. I really appreciate the time these guys invested in me and the quality of their instruction, they made my first steps into scuba diving an incredibly exciting and satisfying experience. Not only that, but its been just over a month now since I was certified through Platinum Scuba, and they are still bending over backwards by helping me find good dive sites in Mexico for our Christmas vacation, as well as help my brother get properly registered in the PADI system after another company failed to do so properly.
Thanks Blaine and Shaun, you guys are awesome!!
